About
Reclaimed quarry turned ecological paradise — home to giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, giant tortoises and over 180 bird species.
Our Story
Haller Park is one of the world's most remarkable ecological restoration stories. What was once a barren limestone quarry is now a thriving nature park — home to giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, giant tortoises, and over 180 bird species. The park is Dr René Haller's living laboratory, demonstrating how devastated land can be restored through reforestation and aquaculture. Visitors feed the giraffes, walk the nature trails, and learn about the interconnected ecosystem.
