Kangari Tea Smallholder Farmers Cooperative
Tea Farm Cooperative · Founded 1965 · Kangari Highlands, Murang'a County
About
5,000+ smallholder tea families feeding one of Central Kenya's most productive factories — the beating heart of the Kangari tea zone.
Our Story
Five thousand families, one shared factory, and an ocean of green. The Kangari cooperative's members hand-pick tea on foggy highland slopes and deliver to a factory that processes over 10 million kilos of green leaf a year.
