Bomet County is a county in the former Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Initially a district, Bomet District was created from the former Kericho District in 1992. It later transitioned to Bomet County under Kenya’s new constitution of 2010. The Capital of Bomet County is Bomet Town. The County lies between Latitudes 0º 29′ and 1º 03′ South and between Longitudes 35º 05′ and 35º 35′ East and covers an area of 2507.1 km2.It is bordered by four counties, namely: Kericho to the North, Nyamira to the W
